Over 3000 islands protrude from the sea with red sailed junks dotting the horizon. With a total area of 354 sq km, the mountainous island of Cat Ba is the largest island in Ha Long Bay. Cat Ba is a tropical paradise of white sands beach, caves, and limestone peaks, which rise like gnarled, blackened fingers from the lush greenery.
Day 1 :Hanoi - Hai Phong - Cat Ba (L-D)
AM : 6:00 depart to Hai Phong. 9:00 Take an express boat to Cat Ba. 10h00: arrive Cat Ba. Check-in hotel. Lunch
PM : Free for swimming at the beach. Dinner and Overnight in Cat Ba.
Day 2 :Cat Ba - Hai Phong - Hanoi (B,L)
AM :Short trek to visit Cat Ba National Park. Lunch
PM : Take an express boat to Hai Phong. Bus transfer to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi about 19h00.
